Kelsey Christopulos

Hi! I'm Kelsey Christopulos, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and approved supervisor in the state of Utah. I completed my bachelor's degree in international studies at the University of Utah and my master's degree in marriage and family therapy at BYU.

It's my belief that connection with self and others is one of the foundational pillars of health and I strive to take a holistic approach to healing - I love helping my clients connect with themselves and their innate ability to heal and be well. I use principles of emotionally focused therapy, narrative therapy, DBT and systems theory to guide my work. I am also trained in EMDR (eye movement desensitization and reprocessing) and have seen clients make amazing progress through this type of trauma work.

In couples therapy, I might be a good fit if you are struggling with differences in sexual desire, difficulty communicating about sex, challenges experiencing pleasure, feeling emotionally distant, general communication difficulties or if you are hoping to deepen your connection with each other. I also have extensive experience working with couples where one or both partners struggles with ADHD or a mood disorder and couples struggling with parenting difficulties.

In individual therapy, I enjoy working with women in their 20s and 30s who are struggling to find their voice/identity in various areas of their lives, whether that be in their role as a mother, in the workplace, in their sexual relationships or their relationships in general. Further, I love to work with women who have experienced abuse, deal with anxiety, depression or ADHD and are hoping to feel more empowered and confident.
